Gulf Highlands Beach Resort is located near the Beach in a gated community with 24-hour security making for a very safe family friendly complex.
The resort offers a private Beach Club and beachside swimming pool directly on beautiful White Sandy Beaches with its own snack bar / restaurant overlooking the Emerald Coast!
The GHBR complex has 11 swimming pools (5-heated in winter), tennis courts, an 18-hole putt-putt and Shuffle-Board along with access to numerous local restaurants...all within walking distance. All activity items are provided with our unit.
Our townhome is located directly in front of the Damon Swimming Pool and we're only a short 5-minute stroll to the Beach Club!
The unit itself is Beach-Theme decorated. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV's and queen beds. The Kitchen is fully stocked with ample dining area and large living room. Enjoy outdoor relaxation on front and rear patios with a gas grill for outside cooking.
Gulf Highlands is perfectly situated next to the Edgewater Shopping Center near shopping, entertainment, dining and beach activity, not to mention The PCB Water Park only one block away...both Kids and Adults will enjoy this location! Unique Benefits
Our location is unique being so close to a swimming pool where you can see your kids from the front porch. There are numerous restaurants all within walking distance and the beach only minutes away. We're close enough to the main gate entrance but far enough away from area noise....it really is a very peaceful place.
If you're planning an extended week or more, many of our guests rent Golf Carts from local Golf-Cart Rental Companies that deliver inside Gulf Highlands, (NO Street Legal or Six-Seater Rental Carts are Allowed on the Property per HOA Regulations).
There's also a locally owned "Beach Shuttle Golf-Cart Service" available...A simple phone call and you're picked up at your unit or at the Beach. There's no direct cost to you, as they only accept voluntary tips. With your reservation we will provide this contact.
Why Kids Love It
Freedom for them....and for YOU! The Damon swimming pool is directly across from the front door, just steps away. You can actually watch the kids from the front patio! Many vacationers also bring their Bicycles so the kids can freely roam the property visiting the canals, playgrounds and putt-putt course not to mention shuffleboard and tennis also near the front door. The Beach and Beach club is a short 5-minute stroll, many people load their gear in pushcarts and wagons to spend the day at the beach. After hours, directly behind our unit is a pass-through gate which takes them to Rocket Lanes, a Bowling Alley, Arcade and Roller-Skating Rink...literally 100 yards behind the unit. It really is a kids paradise! Of course, for Mom & Dad there's the Bayou Restaurant just to the left of our unit, (Happy Hour 4-7) all within walking (or crawling) distance.

Gulf Highlands Beach Resort is centrally located near major attractions, such as Frank Brown Park, PCB Water Park, bustling Pier Park, as well grocery stores and numerous restaurants...only a short 5 minute drive to Walmart, Publix, Home depot, and Edgewater shopping, plus access to Front Beach Road and the St Andrews park area. There are just too many nearby places to list here, but you can rest assured you're in the right place, not to mention Gulf Highlands Beach Resort is "quiet"....it's simply the best place for family activity and peaceful relaxation.
Attractions Within Walking Distance
Rocket Lanes (Bowling Alley, Sports Bar, Arcade, Roller Skating Rink) located in Edgewater Shopping Center directly behind our unit, literally 100 yards away. There's PCB Island Water Park only two blocks away and within walking distance. There are numerous restaurants nearby...our favorite is "The Bayou" just 50 yards away through the Damon Circle gate. Across the street is an area favorite "The Saltwater Grill", Wicked Wheel, Firefly, Subway, Pizza, Mexican, Waffle House, Gulf Highlands Beach Club Restaurant (Great Breakfast and Sandwiches) and so many more within a short distance. Shopping is close by as well...Walmart, Publix, Home Depot, Chic Filet and much more.

One of the best Parks you will ever see is "Frank Brown Park" just minutes away from the Gulf Highlands location. Kids of all ages enjoy the extensive playgrounds and the park is known to many who attend World Softball Tournaments at Frank Brown. It's a location not to be missed. Also Visit a locals restaurant called "The Sandbar"...it's up front beach road off Hwy 79 but worth the trip. Great Food and Great People! Have Gerald make you the best Bloody Mary ever and say Hello!

About the owner: Angela & Jay live in the Atlanta area and purchased the property in 2013 after visiting friends who lived in Gulf Highlands. Being avid Motorcycle riders we were familiar with PCB attending Bike Week events but had never considered buying. Upon visiting Gulf Highlands we were impressed how clean and well managed it was, and we enjoyed the energy of people there. We found Gulf Highlands a very active and thriving community well situated to Beach activities along Front Beach Rd along with nearby shopping and restaurants, making it a perfect location. Now years later we've never regretted our decision making new friends in the area and creating new relationships with repeat guests, many who have become family to us.
Angela and I prefer treating others the way we want to be treated and that belief has allowed us to provide exceptional service for our guests.
It is indeed our pleasure to share with others the joy and freedom we feel in the area when visiting PCB via Gulf Highlands and we hope you will too!
Why this property? Gulf Highlands is well managed, very secure and just plain enjoyable. There is so much to do on the property with 11 swimming pools (all of them available to guests and residents), Shuffle Board, Tennis Courts, 18-hole Putt-Putt course, and a Private Beach Club (with it's own Beachside Swimming Pool), a Snack Bar and so much it's located in a surprisingly noise free and non-congested area very close to shopping and restaurants. It really is a magical place and we know you and your family will have a great Beach Vacation staying in Gulf Highlands!

Family gateway!
We stayed in the condo for 10 days everything was great.The condo is in a great resort (as described by Jay's listing) and Jay's condo has all the accessories you need to enjoy those amenities in the resort for free.Beach is little less than 10min walking which is amazing for us (no need for the golf cart if you have a stroller for kids)Also Jay is great in communication as well. Quick responses and accommodating.If we can find any available time we will book again before going back to school this summer.

Week vacation
Jay and Angela went above and beyond for us. Two of the best and nicest people I’ve had the privilege to rent a vacation home from. I give them and their place 10 stars. Will definitely be staying with them for years to come.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Jay and Angela's townhome was absolutely perfect for myself, my husband and our teenage daughter. We appreciated the two separate bedrooms and the 1 1/2 baths. The layout is perfect with a living area, kitchen, dining area, and 1/2 bath downstairs. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a full bath. The rooms were even better in person than the photos. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook our own seafood boil one evening. We highly recommend Buddy's Seafood for fresh shrimp. Security and parking in the complex are easy. We had much rather have a unit with parking right at our door, rather than parking a million miles from our room and dealing with long lines at elevators. The beach is an easy 10 minute stroll with a beach cart. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and spent 3 fabulous days on the beach. We highly recommend taking a morning cruise on the Sea Screamer, as we found this to be a highlight of our trip. The Shoppes at Edgewater is located right next door and we enjoyed dinner there at Dee's Hangout and American Charlie's our other nights. The communication with the owners was seamless. I definitely are looking forward to spending another weekend getaway here.

Fun times with the Grandchildren
This condo was outstanding. Beautifully decorated: all the amenities that you need. No golf cart but my son had one so we used it and bicycles. Tried out most of the pools and lastly played goofy golf. I fully recommend Jay’s condo.

Home away from home
Great family friendly condo and location. Truly a home away from home. Pool was directly across the street! Washer and dryer was appreciated and used. Decor was warm and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need to cook a meal. The owners are so hospitable, helpful and very quick to respond. Water hose in the back was so nice to have to rinse off cooler and beach toys. Wonderful family sitting area on patio and grill. Short walk to the beach. Next time we will bring a golf cart. The pool on the beach side was refreshing. I would definitely come back to stay with my family.

Easy
Jay and Angela made the rental process convenient. They were very easy to contact and responded promptly. Everything worked out just as expected. The location was just a short walk through the complex to the beach, and their place was neat and clean.

Perfect place!
Could not have asked for a better location. The townhouse is right in the heart of Panama City beach. Very quick walk to get to the beach, shopping, restaurants, golf cart rental, etc. The pool is literally seconds away from the front door. We loved staying here, the place is very well maintained and had everything we could need. The resort is also very nice, the other guests were friendly and the grounds are clean and landscapes nicely. We could not have asked for a better stay!

Great condo, great area!
My family had a great stay at this condo! It was clean and an easy walk to the beach. The amenities on the grounds was an added perk. Jay made the booking process very easy. We would definitely stay again!

A last minute decision for myself, my two daughters and three of my grandchildren turned into the most enjoyable stay in PC beach! This is approximately our 10th stay in PCB and our favorite so far.The townhouse feels like home including all the amenities a resort should offer. The resort is situated feet from the beach, popular restaurants and entertainment favorites. The condo itself was roomy, spotless and fully stocked with anything we needed. Jay and Angela, the owners, were exceptional and timely in all of my questions regarding the condos amenities and supplies, if needed. We can’t wait to get back this year with hopes of staying in this same condo/townhouse, if possible. It’s first on my list!!! Don’t waste you time on expensive hotel stays when this location is so much more for your money!!! Thanks again Jay and Angela!!!
