About the host: Midwest Raised, now in Colorado with our animals and children on acreage east of Castle Rock. The long months of snow in Colorado had us looking for a reprieve and Sarasota was it! Hope you enjoy our little slice of heaven, as much as we do!
Why this property? We love being in the "middle of everything" for Sarasota. The art district is right downtown, you can walk just a few blocks to the new Art Museum, Starbucks, and Arlington Park with tennis courts, olympic pool, .5 mile walkway around a pond with native turtles and ducks making this their home. St. Armand's shopping is close, Farmer's Market, LongBoat Key, Siesta Key all just minutes away. Our little hurricane block house has withstood the hurricanes of time down here since 1960! Still safe, no damage and going strong. Hope you can enjoy.
