Come stay at our newly renovated 2 bed/2 bath traditional Florida home! We recently completed work on our brand new heated 14'x25' salt water swimming pool. Take a dip in the morning or after a long day of exploring. We are blocks from the recently renovated Dearborn Street. Come enjoy the action away from all the sprawl.
Our quaint traditional Florida home is fully furnished with everything that you'll need for a relaxing stay. Start your morning with a quiet cup of coffee in the completely fenced in backyard or take a morning stroll downtown. Grab a bite to eat or cup of coffee at one of the many fine establishments located just blocks away. If it's the beach you crave, Manasota Key is a quick 7 minute drive with some of the best shelling around and Stump pass beach state park is wonderful for a morning walk! Thursdays are for the farmer's market and the best part is that you won't have to worry about parking as it's just a short walk from the house.
Finish your day with a toast and savor dinner at one of Englewood's fabulous eateries, catch the sunset at Lemon Bay or just chill at the house. Whether it's your first time visiting or you're seasoned veterans, we're glad to share our home with you! Enjoy, Stephanie & Mike.

The Moose Lodge in Englewood is considered one of the best in the country. Only two blocks from the house. Always has something going on from Live Music to events. Memberships are worth the price!
Englewood's on Dearborn is an amazing Blues Restaurant and Bar two blocks from the house. Some of the best Live Blues Music I have heard.
Stump Pass State Park on Manasota Key is a great place to shell or explore. Just get there early!

About the owner: My wife, Stephanie, and I are from Platteville, WI. We have been married 15 years and are active real estate investors, restaurateurs, and business owners. While our travels have taken us to Idaho, Washington, and Colorado, we have always had a soft spot for Florida. We have family and friends that have sworn by this part of Florida as the best "Old Florida" experience you can have. After years of traveling to this location we purchased our own piece of paradise. While we are not there as often as we want to be, we do want to share our experience with those who will enjoy and respect the area as much as we do!
Why this property? This particular property fit our needs by its location (close to everything we want to do) and improvements needed after purchase. The property has been remodeled since is purchase with new improvements happening all of the time. When you reach out do not forget to ask what we are improving next!
Frequently Asked Questions
How close am I to the beach?
You are less than 1 mile from Lemon Bay and you are less than 3 miles from Manasota Key that has a public beach and many restaurants and bars. If you are driving traffic could dictate the travel time based on how busy the road to Manasota Key is but usually its a quick 10 minute drive.
Are rates negotiable or are discounts given for longer stays?
While we will consider negotiable rates, based on the time of year (on-season vs off-season) we typically do not look to negotiate rates or offer discounts unless there is an extended stay of at least 60 days or more. As this area become more popular, just being able to respond to inquires is a job itself!
How does your leasing process work?
Once we have communicated and you have indicated you would like to rent the property, we would send you an application to fill out via email. You can then email back to us the completed form. Provided everything is "all good" we would then send out a lease either via docusign or for those less "tech savvy" we would mail. Lease would be required to be signed and returned with agreed upon deposit and up front payments agreed upon. Once received property is booked for your stay!

Perfect easy-care house.
The house was comfortable, well kept and stocked ,attractive and fully functional. We enjoyed the pool and the bike rides through quiet streets and parks. Good massage spa across the street and walking distance to dining and a great farmers market. Hosts were highly responsive. Tho roughly enjoyed our stay.

clean house, nice back yard with all your vacation needs.
this house is close to all your vacation needs. groceries ,restaurants, beeches, stores, and nightlife . when you stay here you are within 10 miles of all the amenities, the house is clean and stocked with all your needs with a back yard fire pit and portable tiki bar, and grill.All in a quiet neighborhood .

Great find, Wonderful location exceptionally clean.
This little gem is quite the find. Within walking distance of historic Deerborn Street and downtown Englewood, you can’t go wrong. The beach is just short drive away as is Lemon Bay. Many parks, boat launches and area attractions. The location cannot be beat!! A wonderful neighborhood, great neighbors and peaceful. If it’s old town charm you’re looking for, you’ve found it.
