About the host: Our family lives in Atlanta, Georgia. We love visiting Cape San Blas. The relaxed atmosphere and beauty of the area keep us coming back year after year.
We visited Cape San Blas for the first time in 2001 and immediately fell in love. The water was perfect, the beaches weren't crowded and we could bring our dog. We especially like the North end of Cape San Blas because it is especially quiet. The amazing T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is so close to the house and the dune structure on that beach is like none you have ever seen.
Carrie will be managing your stay at Sweet Necessity and she can be a bit of a perfectionist. That's a bonus for you, as she promises to do all she can to make your time at Cape San Blas absolutely wonderful.
We are confident you will love Cape San Blas as much as we do. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions about our home or the area.

Absolute fantastic Beach House to stay at.
We have made many trips to Cape San Blas over the years this was by far the Best Beach House we have stayed at. The House is very roomy and the decor Is done really well. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could Possibly need for your stay. The pool was very nice and clean and the Pool Maintenance man even showed up Wednesday to clean it again and make sure We didn’t need anything. Carrie called several times while we were there to make Sure we were doing ok and make sure we didn’t need anything. I would highly Recommend this house if you are looking for a really good Beach experience

MAGICAL!!!
Magical! This was our first trip to Cape San Blas and it was magical. We could not believe our Good Fortune!!! This house! Every detail is impeccable and there is truly something to make everyone happy. The porch swing/ bed on the second floor is the perfect place to curl up with a book. The bunk room is fully stocked with board games. I loved taking a moonlit evening shower in the room on the 3rd floor - what a clever idea! The views from all the rooms are fantastic …. You can see either the bay or the ocean. The two dishwashers are such a treat! I love the reclaimed door to the panty. It’s clear that much attention went into the design of this home. It does not feel like a typical rental. The beach is glorious. A quick walk from the house over the dune gets you to paradise. We spent hours upon hours in the water chasing crabs and playing around on the sand bar. The sand is so pristine that it “sings” ( squeaks) when you walk on it. We saw dolphins! We loved starting and ending our days in the pool. Like the beach, it is also pristine. The lounge chairs are so comfortable and the pool area is really peaceful. We forced ourselves to leave the house a few times. We had fun checking out the scene at the State Park. Ice cream and icees at the Trading Post were delish.Carrie is the quintessential host. She is kind and attentive. She has thought of everything that you could possibly need. I cannot recommend this beautiful home enough.
