deep water 'Forked Creek' which leads to the Intracoastal Waterway & Gulf of exico. Enter through the cut glass front door, past the front twin bedroom, into an open living
room/dining room where sliding glass doors open wide to reveal expansive views over the pool to the water! To the right is the spacious king sized owner's suite w/upgraded private bath w/walk in tile shower, double bowl vanity & huge walk in closet. For access convenience there is a door to the pool/Lanai area. Back thru the Liv/Din room is the bright kitchen w/Corian counters, lots of cabinets, glass top range, fridge, microwave, double sink, bar/peninsula & desk area. A sliding window opens wide over the bar in the pool area to the kitchen for easy entertaining! The kitchen is stocked with just about every small appliance imaginable! Past the kitchen to the den you'll find lots of seating & another set of large sliding doors that open wide to an expansive outdoor living area. The private mosiac embellished & heated pool invites you to relax & rejuvenate! NEW SCREEN ENCLOSED LANAI! Outdoor patio off the lanai for grilling! A queen guest bedroom w/walk in closet & the main bath are off the hallway. From the spacious two car garage you'll enter in to the very large utility/laundry room w/extra wall OVEN, utility sink, washer/dryer & loads of cabinets. Another great amenity down the walkway from the patio is the boat dock w/cement bulkhead and a 10,000lb boat lift!!! All situated on deepwater Forked Creek!
STRICTLY A NON SMOKING HOME. ANY EVIDENCE OF SMOKING IN THE HOME WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT AND IMMEDIATE EVICTION.
MONTHLY VACATION RENTAL: Rental period begins at noon on the FIRST day of the month and ends at noon on the LAST DAY of the month.

RATES: $5500 Per Month Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr & May. $4500 Per Month June thru Dec. PLUS Cleaning Fee $300. Plus required 13% Tax on rental & fees: State (7%), County (6%). A $1,000 Refundable Damage Deposit is required. 25% deposit of rental cost due upon reservation, full amount due 90 days prior to day 1 of rental period. Rates & availability subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Check In day 1 of rental period at noon & check out at noon last day of rental period. Cancellation Policy: Monthly renters who cancel at least 90 days prior to rental term start date will incur no penalty. Cancelling between 60-89 days renters will forfeit 50% of rent. Less than 60 days cancellation notice will result in refund of only the damage deposit & cleaning fee.

About the owner: Bobby is a retired City Administrator and I am a retired Banker/Realtor. We both are outdoorsy people, love hiking and exploring. Bobby is definitely a Mr. Fix It! He can do just about anything which helps when you own a home! Also we're very blessed that our son, Sean lives just 6 miles from our home and is also an incredible handyman!! I love photography, Backgammon, WORDLE, crossword puzzles & Jig Saw puzzles! Bobby is the phone person & I am the online communicator!
Why this property? Bobby & I have loved Florida for a long time and had dreamed of owning a home there! Our son moved to Venice, FL in 2010 so that was it! We were blessed to be able to buy a home! We started looking around 2015 and finally found a dream home in Englewood! Situated on the deep waterway 'Forked Creek' & featuring a dock with boat lift!! The waterway leads to Lemon Bay (intracoastal waterway) and the Gulf! An absolutely great amenity is the gorgeous screen room covered in ground pool and a beautiful home to boot! We feel very blessed that we were able to buy this home and we sure enjoy it when it's available!!

Wonderful clean, well-stocked home
We really enjoyed our stay at this terrific home! Linda and Bobby were very attentive hosts, the house was VERY clean, and it was stocked with absolutely everything we needed for the month. The best stocked rental we’ve ever had! We used the boat lift and enjoyed going places on the intercoastal waterway. The home was large enough to host our kids and grandkids for a weekend and we loved the pool and lanai area. Neighborhood felt very safe and the location was great for spending time in Englewood or Venice. Would definitely rent this home again!

Excellent vacation home, super owners!
We have enjoyed staying at this house for last 5-6 years. We really love the location, sitting out on the lanai looking for manatees, dolphins and the occasional alligator drifting along.The location is perfect- close enough to many interesting places to visit, but nice and quiet to come home to. The house is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Very CLEAN. Linda and Bobby are absolutely the best hosts we have ever had - and we have rented many places. Every time we leave, we can't wait to come back!Absolutely love it.

Best Vacation House
We have stayed at this location for the past five years for the month of February. Bobby and Linda are super people to rent from. The house is perfect for our escape from winter. The neighborhood is quiet and provides plenty of area for walking or biking. Beaches are nearby via car or via boat. We use the boat lift and go from Forked Creek to the ICW to the beach. Even if the pool is still a little cool, we enjoy sitting in the lanai area watching all the birds and boats go by. We have even seen manatees and one small alligator. The home is immaculate and well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. We highly recommend this home and the owners. Can’t wait for our next visit.
