Welcome to “Casa de Lobos”! Wren Beach Rentals is happy to offer this spacious beach home for your next vacation rental. This large 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath pool home is located in the heart of Vilano Beach. While the home is not directly on the beach, it just a short walk through our oceanfront property with private beach access. Historic St. Augustine is just over the Vilano Bridge, less than five minutes away. There, you can soak in the history of the nation’s oldest city, enjoy some of our finest eateries, or visit one of our many well-known galleries, museums, and attractions. Deep sea fishing, jet ski rentals, and other water activities are abundant in St. Augustine. That’s the beauty of the location of Casa de Lobos! You can walk to the beach or be in the heart of down town in minutes!
The home has five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Starting on the third floor, you have the primary bedroom which features a king bed, TV, walk-in closet, and a private balcony that offers views of the Atlantic. The primary bathroom is very open and has a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and a double vanity. Head down to the second level and you will find all of the common living spaces plus another bedroom. The bedroom on the 2nd floor has two queen beds, a TV, and a full, private bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The living and dining areas are open to each other. The dining table seats 6 to 7 people. The living room has two sofas situated around the large wall-mounted TV. The kitchen features new stainless appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook your favorite meals. The 2nd floor also features a wrap-around deck that overlooks the pool area and offers plenty of shaded areas for enjoying the out doors.
There are three more bedrooms on the first floor. The third bedroom has a queen bed, while the fourth bedroom has two full beds. The fourth bedroom has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is also a full bathroom in the hallway, which has a walk-in shower. The 5th bedroom has a queen bed and a TV in the bedroom. Also on the first floor is a small kitchenette with a dishwasher, fridge, and a microwave. The lower level patio also wraps around the house and leads right out to the pool area.
One of the main attractions to the property is the large swimming pool. The large pool deck offers plenty of room to work on your tan, and then cool off in the pool. On this large oceanfront piece of property, there are four similar buildings, each individually owned. They all share the same beach access and have access to the pool. The pool is closest to our unit. It is completely fenced in for safety reasons, but there are no lifeguards on duty so please do not let young children swim unattended. In addition to the large pool, there is also a smaller “kiddie” pool.
The location of Casa de Lobos is ideal for those who want to be in close proximity to grocery, restaurants, etc. There is a Publix grocery store directly across the street, along with a liquor store, dry cleaners, and several good restaurants. You can walk to the end of Vilano Road to the Vilano Pier to catch sunset or catch some fish! Historic St. Augustine is just over the Vilano Bridge. There you will find countless restaurants, shops, museums, galleries, and attractions. Day trips to Daytona, Orlando, or Jacksonville are easy from here as well. There is a 5% administrative fee applied.
