#15 is a 900 sq. ft. 2/2 freestanding beach house that's 75 steps to a private beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Our park includes a Marina on the bay, heated pool, clubhouse, access to Buttonwood Cove and a kayak launching area.
This bungalow started out as a mobile home but now is an updated retro beach bungalow in the over 55 community of Twin Shores. I'm offering my bungalow for a seasonal rental price of $3,000.00 a month. Ask me about off season pricing for the summer months. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is in the bath house
You enter into a nice little dining area and two steps up into the kitchen. The kitchen is good sized with DW, gas stove, double sink, fridge and everything you need for your stay. There are two bathrooms one of which is outside the main house in the bath house. The Washer dryer is also in the bath house. The house has a new very quiet and comfortable four zone mini split HVAC system with remote controls. There is an outdoor, gas grill, patio space, and the carport fits most vehicles.
Fully furnished including two Sealy mattresses and a pullout Queen sofa bed. Lots of fun activities in season here at Twin Shores. This unit has lots of new paint and upgrades, coastal decor, light filled inside spaces. A perfect mid-island location from which to enjoy everything Longboat Key has to offer.
You will find everything you need in the way of linens, towels, and kitchen appointments. Including a powerful blender for your frozen drink selections.
Landlord lives nearby should anything come up that needs attention.
Charming rental in an over 55 community on the barrier beach island Longboat Key. 1 month deposit due upon lease signing. Balance of rent plus security due prior to occupancy. Must take at least 3 months. Off season months require a 30 day minimum stay.
My cancellation policy is as follows: Deposits for reservations made at least 90 days before occupancy will be refundable for 7days. Notice must be in writing by email or text.

The unit was an old classic with good bones in need of some TLC and I was the right guy for the job.
Why this property? This is a unique property with amenities that are hard to match. If you are a beach person or a bay person we got you covered. The cover photo is taken from in front of the house.
I rent it for the season and use it as a beach house the rest of the year. I live nearby.

Slice of Beach Paradise - Immaculate and beautifully restored 1950's trailer
I rented this adorable beach tiny house for 2 years during the season. Dec 2022-Apr 2023 & Nov 2023-Apr 2024. I cannot say enough about the house, location, community and the landlord. 2 Bed, 2 BA (1 ba is just outside the back door in the bath house). Kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, double sink, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. There is also a gas grill just outside in the covered car port that has both regular and turbo settings. There is a full size stacked washer and dryer in the bath house. There is a breakfast nook off the kitchen with a table that has a fold down feature for maximum space saving. Main house bath has a shower/tub combo with great water pressure. Bath house has a stand up shower stall. Family room is tastefully decorated with clean, comfortable furniture. There is a full size couch that pulls out to a queen bed. Although I never slept on the bed, the couch is very comfortable. Family room also has a smart TV. The best feature of the family room is the wall of windows that faces main street and glimpses the beach across the street. The bedrooms both have adjustable Queen size beds. Mattresses were very comfortable and all bedding provided. The master has enormous closets and a small office space with desk & chair, allowing for quiet from the rest of the house. The guest room has a dresser and a standing closet. The entire house has mini splits for heating or cooling and allows for each room to be set to it's own temperature. Location - this house is set in the middle of Longboat Key Island, just off the coast of Bradenton (north) and Sarasota (south). Less than 100 steps to the beach - just across the Gulf of Mexico drive - to your private beach access. Beach chairs provided in tiki hut.Twin Shores Community - there is a club house with full kitchen facilities, heated pool, and a marina. 55+ community of friendly, fun people happy to share their hidden gem. Games, movies, dinners, etc. something every night happening here. Landlord - John is the best landlord around. He keeps the beach house immaculately clean, great communication, immediately addresses any concerns you have. He lives nearby and has worked in the construction and real estate biz for years. You will not have to worry about anything but enjoying and relaxing by the beach. I can't say enough about this place. Only not renting here again because I decided to buy a property in the Twin Shores Community.
