The pictures will be posted by December 2022, when construction is finished. The tiki hut will have a custom built bar, electricity, fan, 2 refidgerators, chairs, lighting- a great hang out for all our guests!
We provide 2 bicycles, bike locks, 2 kayaks, life jackets, beach chairs, pool towels, a hammock, the house is stocked like we were living there! Crock pot, blender, magic bullet, small appliances, chalk board wall, just everything a family could imagine to make it home! away from home!

Tu Casa is a great place that is well organized and in a nice location. The interior and exterior were clean and everything worked well. No broken outdoor chairs or tables- which is rare with rentals. All the TVs worked. Outdoor tiki hut is nice. Kayaks and bikes worked well. Pool was very clean and heated. The most important part was the dock and the fishing. Caught mangrove and yellow snappers, barracuda and permits off the dock. The dock is in great shape!! Shout out to Marathon Bait and Tackle (locally owned) for selling nice shrimp - support locally owned businesses if possible. Beth is great to work with and promptly responds to inquiries. Appreciate her advice about rental and Marathon recommendations.

Tu Casa was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The location was central to so many things. Great sized bedrooms with high quality mattresses. All the extras, tiki bar, kayaks, pool and spacious dock was perfect for our boat. Thanks for a super vacation experience!

Great location--close to gorgeous Sombrero Beach. A bit too far to walk, but within comfortable biking distance (fee for parking at beach now). New bikes provided but would prefer 5-speed and will rent some next time. Really close to Publix and restaurants--so helpful. House is lovely, roomy, well-equipped (could use a few more hand towels and silverware for group of 10) but lots of beach towels, comfy beds and quality bedding. Great air conditioning. Challenge--stairs. You need to walk up two steep sets--it was great exercise, but anyone with mobility issues would not be able to access home. Pool and dock areas are lovely-what a view! Challenge--bugs! Some days and nights were miserable because of no-seeums--we tried multiple sprays but were bitten terribly. Wonder whether the mangroves/ water area could be sprayed? Had a few minor problems with the house but the owner was very attentive and took care of them quickly. She was nice to work with and even gave us a delicious box of candy! The price was right--owner covered the house, pool heat, tax, and cleaning in one reasonable price. Overall, a great place to enjoy the wonders of Marathon!

Thank you so much! We are so grateful for your stay! You were dynamite guests! We have added thick rubber mats on the stairs leading to the front door to help with mobility issues and the City of Marathon does spray seasonaly via a single engine plane to reduce the bug population.

We brought our entire family to Marathon for a week's vacation --6 of us total. I had vacationed in Marathon Key many times as a child, but I had not been back since. It certainly did not disappoint. The weather was amazing, and the logistics of flights, rentals, and ease of getting around were great.The house had everything we could have wanted, including some often-used spices, so I did not have to bring our own. The pool was warm and relaxing, and we loved fishing off of the dock. We even have a video of a manatee swimming past us! The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Surrounding homes and the house itself were extremely quiet--you don't even hear road sounds. We walked to the beach a couple of times and took the car the rest --we walked on the beach every day. We took the kayaks out once on a short jaunt, but we could have gone much further if time had allowed. It was a great retreat to relax and regroup.We did all of the typical tourist haunts. As a family, we loved playing minigolf at the Boondocks. My kids swam with the dolphins, and I joined them for snorkeling inside the aquarium. We went fishing on the Marathon Lady and enjoyed watching the pelicans at the end when the fish were being cleaned. I would suggest claiming a spot in the back of the boat for the best fishing and creating the least tangles. We spent a day in Key West taking a Haunted Ghost Tour, visiting the Shipwreck Museum, and enjoying the food and shops.We appreciate Beth's information packet on things to do, how to fly directly using Allegiant Air, where to eat, and her communication before the trip. The house was fantastic, and we would highly recommend it to a family coming to Marathon Key!

Katherine S.Great stay in the Florida Keys - Marathon
We loved staying at Tu Casa! Location was perfect for our family! Down the street from Publix/Walgreens and less then two miles from Sombrero Beach. We biked to Sombrero Beach several mornings, my daughter and I biked to the Turtle Hospital one afternoon (loved having the bike lock so we could secure bikes there while on tour), a couple of us kayaked in the canal, loved the pool and had a couple meals under the tiki hut while watching some TV (also under tiki hut). Water pressure inside (showers) was not the best but know the Keys were also on a water conservation the time we were there (and Beth did make us aware of that - which was out of her control!). Beth was very quick to respond to any questions we had while staying at Tu Casa. Would definitely rent again as it really was a perfect spot for us!
