Totally remodeled 2 bedroom/2 bath upper floor corner unit located in the highly sought after Plantation Golf and Country Club in Westchester Gardens. This is a third floor unit and has an elevator for easy access, or if you prefer, stairs are nearby.
Unit was completely remodeled and decorated in a modern farmhouse decor. All new plumbing, wiring, drywall, paint, and fixtures. HVAC replaced in 2023.
Kitchen has custom white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Floors are porcelain wood look tile all throughout.
Main bedroom has a king size bed, private bath with oversized shower, walk in closet, full size washer/dryer and 50 inch flat screen TV. It also has direct access to the screened in terrace. Second bedroom has queen size bed, closet and flat screen TV. Unit is a split floor plan. All TV's have ability to stream and unit is equipped with free WIFI.
Living room has a comfortable sofa, oversized chair, and leather recliner, along with 65" flat screen smart TV. If you feel like eating in, The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need from making a snack to cooking a gourmet meal. Enjoy your meal out on the screened-in terrace with a view or relax in one of the club chairs with ottoman.
There is one assigned covered parking spot with ample parking for any additional vehicles.
The Westchester Gardens community heated pool and clubhouse is steps away and free for your use. Community barbecue grills and Wi-Fi are available at the clubhouse.
This property is perfect for short getaways (inquire within), extended vacations or business trips. Everything you need is provided, from the kitchen utensils to ironing board etc., just bring your suitcase. We also provide a supply of basic necessities to start you off, including toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher tabs and hand soap. Just minutes from several fantastic beaches, shopping and fabulous restaurants. A security/damage deposit of $500 is due via Venmo immediately to secure your reservation. ~FOR RENTALS LESS THAN A YEAR OUT: First half (50%)of rental fee is due 120 days prior to arrival via Venmo, personal or cashier's check. Balance of 2nd half (50%) plus additional fees is due 45 days prior to arrival via Venmo, personal or cashier's check. ~FOR SEASONAL RENTALS MORE THAN 1 YEAR OUT: A quarterly payment plan will be implemented and a deposit equal to 10% of total cost of reservation ($500 sec. deposit is included) must be paid immediately to secure your reservation. All terms will be provided in detail in rental agreement and given the opportunity to be reviewed prior to making final decision.
Cancellations made more than (90) days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund less the $500 reservation deposit unless I am able to re-book the property for those dates, then I will refund the deposit (less a $50 cancellation fee). Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within (90) days of the arrival date, WILL FORFEIT any payment received towards rental fee or reservation deposit. I will refund any payments made if I re-book the condo (less $50 cancellation fee)
**Please be aware that the $500 deposit is non refundable should you cancel your reservation AT ANY TIME. I will refund this fee (less $50 cancellation fee) if I am able to rebook the property, otherwise once you check-in, this fee becomes the damage deposit and WILL BE REFUNDED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF DEPARTURE pending inspection of property.**

About the owner: My husband and I currently live in Kings Park, NY and have been vacationing in Venice for a few years with plans on purchasing a second home. Since we would only use it part-time we decided to purchase a condo instead. This unit came up for sale and we purchased it site-unseen from NY with the help of our realtor. We gutted the entire unit and remodeled it with the help of a local contractor. We wanted the design and feel of the unit to be warm and inviting. I know the décor is not the typical "beachy" design but we love it and I know you will, too!
We own a seasonal Italian ice business back on Long Island so we are fortunate enough to be able to close for the winter months and come down and enjoy the warm weather for 3 out of the 4 months. The year-round residents of Westchester Gardens are the nicest group of people you will ever meet. We are so happy to call Westchester Gardens our home!
Why this property? We are a top floor end unit with an unobstructed view of the 9th hole of the Bobcat course. You can watch the sunrise from the back lanai and watch the sunset from your front door. There is an elevator if stairs aren't your thing. The entire unit was completely remodeled and tastefully decorated. The community pool is a short walk away. We are not far from the beach, dining and Wellen Park. The options to golf nearby are endless!

Quiet gem with all the comforts of home!
From the moment we walked in to the condo we knew we've made the right choice! Pictures do not do it justice. We immediately felt right at home and there was no small detail overlooked. The pool was a short walk away from the unit and if you wanted to hit the beach it was a 15-20 minute drive. We were less than 10 minutes from downtown Wellen Park so finding a place to eat was not a problem! The year round residents are so friendly, they make you to want to never leave! The view off the back lanai is to die for. The owners John and Ann Marie made sure we had everything we needed and if there was an issue they were a phone call away. I look forward to returning to the Venice area again.

You really couldn't ask for more, the views of the 9th green, wildlife, peacefulness, just awesome, Ann Marie and John were excellent host, the booking process was smooth, great communication, no problems at all ,you will love this newly remolded piece of paradise, i didn't want to leave.. Chuck N.

Plantation in Venice
This is a wonderful rental in the Plantation Golf Club neighborhood in Venice, Florida. The owners renovated this condo beautifully and have decorated it beautifully as well. The owners were excellent communicators, and the condo was exactly as described, maybe even better. Our son was playing in the collegiate gulfshore baseball league and this was a perfect place for him to stay, since it was only about 10 minutes to the Atlanta Braves spring training facility. We would definitely stay here again given the chance to come back to the area.

You Will Love This Condo
My family had the most wonderful stay here. Everything is updated and is so fresh. The view from the lanai is stunning and so peaceful to sit outside to view the golf course, wildlife, and the summer storms. Bedrooms are super comfortable and the bathrooms are beautiful.The location is perfectly set. A quick drive to restaurants, Venice Beach, Siesta Key and so many other wonderful places on the Gulf Coast.We loved our stay so much that we plan to come back. You will not be disappointed.
