About the host: We are from the Midwest. Iowa to be exact! The home of the Iowa Hawkeyes, corn, soybeans, beef and pork!
We purchased and renovated this home to be our little get away from the cold winter weather in Iowa. We are happy to share our little place with you and hope it will meet your expectations. This is a wonderful, safe neighborhood, with many folks walking, jogging or biking during the day.
This home is professionally cleaned before guests arrival.
Due to the humid weather here in Florida, we have professional pest control hired to take care of the inside and outside of the property.
We ask that absolutely no smoking or pets be allowed in our house. Please be courteous, as we have children and grandchildren with allergies and want this to be a safe place for them to visit.
This area is wonderful to visit, whether it's antiques and treasure hunting, going to eat somewhere, fishing, hiking or biking, you're sure to find something interesting to do! This is also a great starting point to travel to many destinations within an hour to hour and a half.
Why this property? Our family is full of cyclists! The Withlacoochee Trail is a huge draw for us! What a great asset to the area!
We are from a smaller midwestern town and love the feel of the smaller area! People are very friendly here!

Good location, especially for bikers or golfers. We walked the trails and explored nearby towns. Crystal River is beautiful and a great place to see the Manatees. The house was clean, everything we needed was provided, maintenance was quick to respond to any issues, very quiet neighborhood.
