About the host

: Living in KY, we have enjoyed wintering in Port Charlotte since purchasing this condo in 2013. However, for the first time since then, I have commitments in KY that are not going to allow my wife and I to use our condo this year.

Why this property?

Port Charlotte is a lovely small town. We like the fact that from this gated community, we can walk to the mall (2 miles), to restaurants (and abundance in under 1 mile), to the YMCA (directly across the road), and to Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and Lowes. Yet with this convenient location, the condo feels like it is in a fairy tale land. It has a lakeview in the back off the lania, and the development is full of mature Oak trees with spanish moss and Palm trees. The large pool and fitness room provide plenty to do without leaving the property.

Great condo in a lovely community.

This is a wonderful condo in a beautiful gated community. We had the pleasure of staying here in 2021 and were very pleased! ! The huge Heritage Oak trees throughout the community are stunning! The balcony view of the lake is serene and the walk around it was a daily highlight. We enjoyed spending time at the beautiful community pool as well. We found it centrally located to shopping and eateries and the drive to the beach scenic. The furnishings are comfortable and the condo has everything you need in a home away from home. We will visit again!

Beautiful, convenient, and wonderful grounds and amenities.

We have stayed in this condo many times and we love going back. The view of the lake, through the trees, is beautiful. We go on daily walks, runs or bike rides. Friendly groups gather every day for pickleball, tennis, and cards. It is conveniently located only minutes away from many shopping and eating options. My favorite part is the gorgeous oak trees and daily pickleball. My kids loved walking around the lake and running through the evening sprinklers. My wife loved the pool where we taught our son to swim and the convenience of the excellent location. Heritage Oak park is calm, quiet and safe. Have fun and enjoy the sun!
