Upscale Oceanfront condominium sleeps 6, (up-charge for additional guests)- located just a few blocks south of Dunlawton Pier and about twenty minutes from Daytona Speedway. Orlando is just a little over an hour away.
Corner unit facing southwest. The 400 square ft. wrap around balcony wraps around the whole condo gives you a perfect views of the ocean as well as the Halifax River. The balcony has access both through the family room as well as the master bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee right outside your bedroom door while watching the ocean.
Amenities Include: interior corridors, elevator, underground dedicated parking space, onsite management, oceanfront heated pool and spa, fitness room, game room and social room.
Open concept living area with over 9’ ceiling, double entry doors, rounded corners, and tray ceilings. The condo has been freshly painted and has new carpet in the bedrooms. Gourmet kitchen with pillars and granite counters tops is fully equipped with all needed cookware, spices, serving ware, utensils, coffee maker (both pot and K-cup), toaster, and blender. Laundry room conveniently located within unit.
Large Master suite with a king bed, easy chair, and private, large bath with soaking tub, walk in shower, dual sinks, huge closet, and flat screen TV.
Both guest bedrooms offer queen sized beds and flat screen TVs, dressers, and closets.
Beach towels, umbrella, chairs, cooler bags, blanket, and boogie boards are available at your request. All you need to bring is food, clothing, and your bathing suit! There are two Publix Supermarkets within a short 5 minute drive. Consider using Hello Fresh or Blue Apron orders delivered for your stay. If cooking isn’t your thing, there are many options within walking distance or a short drive, including the Famous Crabby Joe’s just a couple blocks north of our condo.
This condo is in the Salida del Sol Condos on the 2nd floor with 1808 interior square feet. There are only 4 condos per floor. The family room, kitchen, and dining room offer views of the river to the west to enjoy the sunsets.
The property is very secure with 24/7 camera surveillance and an onsite property manager and maintenance supervisor. All entries to the building and the property are locked as well as a secured underground garage with a reserved parking spot for you vehicle.
This condo is in this area of the beach at the far south side of Daytona Beach Shores near Ponce Inlet. It provides easy access to the entertainment of Daytona Beach without being in the busyness there. We do not get as much beach traffic this far south. We are also just a couple of blocks from Crabby Joe’s located on the Dunlawton Beach Pier. (Crabby Joe's is still currently closed but they are working on it now, so hopefully it will be open soon!)

This condo was built as a home, NOT a timeshare or hotel. This is our home with all of the amenities. We rent it when we are not here. Very clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. If you ever find it otherwise, please let us know and we will work to fix it quickly!
When we were looking for a place to buy, this is the first condo we saw and without a doubt it spoiled us for all the rest we looked at later. We love that the building doesn’t allow short term rentals so these are really our neighbors, not just visitors. Our hope for you as a future renter is that you will love it as much as we do and make it your winter home year after year. With that goal in mind, open communication is encouraged so that we can make your stay the best stay possible!

Area Information
Daytona Beach Shores (DBS) is sandwiched between Daytona Beach and Ponce Inlet. With less hotels and more condos and private residences, DBS is less crowded. In addition to the beautiful beaches, there are other county parks close by with trails,tennis and pickleball courts, and playgrounds. We love the restaurants that are close enough to walk to. Crabby Joes (famous restaurant located out on a pier in the ocean) is only a few blocks north) and other favorites are within a mile and a half walking or biking. If you enjoy fishing, there are two fishing charters that go out of the area and a marina on the other side of the Dunlawton Bridge. Other activities available include sailing, surfing, kayaking the Halifax River, hiking trails, biking, and miniature golf.

Pirate's Island Adventure Golf is at the corner of Dunlawton and S. Atlantic Ave.
Many restaurants are within easy walking distance.

If you get the app "Next Spaceflight" you can see when launches go out of Cape Canaveral. Our condo provides a good location to watch the launches. If it is during hours that the park is open, the Ponce Inlet is great to drive down to and watch the launches from the jetty.

We understand things happen that are out of our control. If you have a monthly rental, we ask for notice one week prior to the check in date or the deposit will become nonrefundable. If you have a three month winter rental, we ask for a one month minimum notice.

Why this property? When we were looking at condos, we were new to the idea and weren't really sure what we were looking for. We were blessed to see this condo before we saw any others and I just knew it was the right one for us. It didn't feel like a condo, but more like a home. We love that it only allows monthly rentals, which keeps it more of a homey feel and not a weekend party place. We hope to retire here some day but in the meantime we enjoy making memories with our friends and family and are pleased to get to share it with a few renters in the process.

Did the condo suffer any damage from the recent hurricanes?
The condo did not suffer any damage. The building did suffer minor damage and the HOA is still in the process of fixing everything as the insurance company has stalled .The pool area did have some damage, but that has been repaired. We are still waiting on the building to be painted but structurally everything is sound!

Great time
We really enjoyed our stay. Condo was what we expected. No surprises. The owner was quick to answer. Any questions we had. Carpeting does need to be replaced. Love the view and the location was great. Owner had lots of good suggestions of places to eat.
