Located in the new gulf-side Villa Del Sol Community on Cape San Blas, Cast Your Cares boasts a relaxed coastal vibe and features a gorgeous fully stocked kitchen and 3 ensuite bedrooms. After a long day at the beach, accessible by the community boardwalk, come home and relax in the spacious open-concept kitchen/dining/living space, or head out to the fully fenced backyard to grill and relax around the propane fire pit. The community features 2 pickleball courts (paddles and balls provided by us) and a community swimming pool conveniently located across the street from our home. No detail has been overlooked in this one of a kind beach home!

Additional features/amenities of Cast Your Cares:
- Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome with a $75 pet fee. Please ask about dogs over 75 pounds prior to booking - thank you!
- The home features a master on the main level with a king bed, 2 ensuite bedrooms upstairs with queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa on the main level.
- 200 to 300 yard walk to the beach from your doorstep (about 5 minutes)
- Backyard seating for 8
- Seating for 4 on the upper balcony and on the front porch
- Weber Gas Grill with backup propane tank
- Propane fire pit with backup propane tank
- Enclosed outdoor shower with hot/cold water and ample hooks for hanging wet towels, bathing suits, etc.
- Keurig Duo, including a coffee starter kit with filters, ground coffee, k-cups, creamer, sugar and Splenda.
- Fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, dinnerware for 12, cups, glasses, wine glasses and coffee cups.
- Crockpot, Instant Pot, Ninja blender, hand mixer and toaster.
- Corkscrew, bottle opener, can opener, shears, scissors and other kitchen essentials. If you find you are in need of something, just let us know!
- Small toolbox
- Large dog crate and baby gate
- Ample storage space for groceries in the cabinets and large pantry.
- Beach chairs, umbrella w/holder, beach towels, beach blanket, beach wagon and beach toys are provided.
- Pickleball paddles and balls are provided for use at the community pickleball courts.
- Kitchen starter kit: dishwashing soap, dishwasher pods, 2 rolls of Bounty paper towels and trash bags.
- 2 rolls of quality toilet paper in each bathroom.
- Our personal kayak is available for use (note, it is a well-loved and often-used kayak but is still seaworthy should you choose to use it).
- Noise machines in each bedroom
NOTE:
-The house does not have cable TV service, but there are Smart TVs in the living room and each bedroom with a paid Hulu + Live TV Subscription, which includes Disney+ and ESPN+. You can also stream using your own apps and other free services on the TVs.
- BOATS: Our community HOA does not allow boats/trailers to be parked in the driveway of homes or in the common areas of the community. If you are bringing a boat, please make arrangements for storage at a marina, etc. We are happy to assist with recommendations.
Guests have access to the whole home, except for one owner's closet located off the master bathroom.
We have local contacts available to assist with any housekeeping or maintenance needs.

About the owner: Greg and Julie Kern purchased Cast Your Cares in April 2022 after visiting here for 10 years. We were originally drawn to the Cape because of its reputation for being pet friendly. Our now 12-year old Pomeranian Samson loves it here, as does his little brother Thor (also a Pom), and so do we! We fell in love with this beautiful beach town the first time we came to the Cape. Owning a home here has been a long-time dream. With the fulfillment of that dream, part of our vision is to provide an exceptional guest experience to all who choose Cast Your Cares for their vacation home. Our prayer is that you'll have a fun, relaxing and refreshing time while staying at Cast Your Cares, and that you'll return for years to come!

My husband and I have never experienced this level of kindness, concern, and communication from owners of a rental. Hurricane Helene was on her way to hit on 8/26. We were supposed to arrive on 8/26. The owners began communicating with us on Monday 8/23. Helene shifted East. Minimal damage was sustained at this location. We were given the go ahead to come in on Saturday once the house had been checked out and authorities okayed it. The house is beautiful, well stocked, and very clean. It was exactly what we needed for a few days getaway after my mom had been called home in late August.Oh, and since we were not able to come until 2 days after our scheduled arrival, we were immediately refunded for those two days. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this little piece of heaven.

Visited Cast Your Cares with our daughter who is 7 months pregnant and son in law plus our 2 dogs. House was clean and well appointed. The lay out is great for 3 couples (our son and DIL had to cancel last minute). Open concept living space is great for dinners and hanging out in the evening. The fenced back yard is a good size for the pups to go out. Walk to the beach is very easy which I was concerned about for our daughter but really easy. Host provided chairs, wagons and umbrellas are very nice and a great touch. The water hose and outdoor shower dog bowls etc etc. Too many amenities to mention all. Had coffee first morning before making it to grocery store. One of our favorite houses. Host also checked on us to make sure all was good. Can't say enough good things. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough. Highly recommended

The owners of this home & their management team are kind & thoughtful. Our family had an incredible experience & we were able to bring our dogs who we adore. The kitchen is new & beautiful and has everything we needed to cook & bake. Two of our kids took turns using the outdoor shower every day- haha. They thought it was so fun to have a shower outside;) My husband & I had coffee and quiet time on the front porch every morning. Our newly married son & his wife met up with us after their honeymoon. They are moving across the country so we will cherish the memories we made this week. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

Gayla M.Perfect for Our First Trip to Cape San Blas
Cast Your Cares is amazing! The hosts went above and beyond from the exceptional communication to the personalized welcome sign and snacks. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The organization in the kitchen brought me joy. It’s the little things!The fenced in backyard was perfect for our pups, Sam & Wally. They really enjoyed it! We also couldn’t believe all of the Tommy Bahama beach chairs that were provided. We have the same kind, and we definitely should have left ours at home. The little beach bags and beach towels were a very nice and unexpected touch.The house is a very short walk to the community boardwalk that leads to the most perfect dog friendly beach. Just one more thing we love about Cape San Blas!Cast Your Cares had the best kept yard in the community. You can tell that the owners really take pride in their beautiful home.This beautiful home made our first trip to Cape San Blas perfect! We’ve already decided to come back next year.

Perfect start to our annual winter getaway.The location is secluded enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to civilization to get the things we need. Julie and Greg have demonstrated their talents in decorating this home. From the moment you walk in you feel the comforts of home. Comfortable furniture, VERY comfortable beds, a kitchen that just knocks others out of the park, a huge walk in pantry that would meet anyone’s needs, and a great fenced back and side yards. Close to the beach. What more could anyone ask for.

My family and I enjoyed a week's stay at Cast Your Cares. It was a wonderful experience. Greg and Julie have thought of everything. Everything for the beach that you need is provided included towels, umbrellas, chairs, and beach wagon. Even your fur baby is thought of with treats and a dog crate if needed. The outdoor shower is awesome (it has hot water!). Great for cleaning your dog of sand after a day at the beach.
