My Happy Place

Exceeded Expectations!

This place was nice and clean. It had more space than I thought and even looked nicer than the pics. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! The private beach access was nice so we didn’t have to worry about parking, cuz those public lots were super full.. but there are stairs to go down to get to the beach so not great for a wagon, (fyi..). I will definitely be coming back here and referring my friends!

great vacation

It was so nice to have all the amenities and be right in front of the ocean with the white sugar sand! My wife and I went to celebrate our 46th anniversary. Great time.

Chateau le meur II

Condo was clean and very roomy. Beds were comfy. Lots of extra pillows, blankets and towels. Lots of kitchen stuff if one wanted to cook. The washer and dryer were super convenient also. Enjoyed our visit.

Heaven on earth.

Beautiful renovated condo. Very comfortable beds with nice linens. Even though I don't cook, the kitchen was updated with stainless steel appliances and there appeared to be lots of cookware and dishes. The floors are gorgeous and all the rooms were large and open. I couldn't believe how quiet and peaceful the area was. The pool was something I used everyday and it was always clean . All common areas were kept mowed and trimmed and no trash was ever noted. Outlet mall , grocery stores, and restaurants 5 minutes away. Thank you Mark for finding me this awesome condo and I hope to spend many more vacations there. Thank you to the owners, also, for sharing their home with us.

Comfortable accommodations at moderate price

My family wants to come again if we return to Destin. The dwelling was clean, provided all the amenities and conveniently located to the beach. We enjoyed our stay!!

Great Family-Friendly Community

I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The location is perfect...a short walk to the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. It’s within walking distance to a few restaurants, and only a few short miles from a beautiful outdoor mall, IMax movie theater, water park, go karts, amazing restaurants, The HarborWalk, Walmart....everything! The unit was just as described, VERY CLEAN, and the grounds were beautifully maintained.

Very nice place, just a few glitches.

The condo was lovely and spacious. There was an issue with the cable not working and had to have a service call. Also did not have the right WiFi code. The property owners for the entire place need to add a step to allow easier access to the beach.Overall very relaxing.

Just what we needed for a quick fall break getaway!

Our ground floor unit (parking 30 feet away!) was very nicely appointed, and the beds were comfortable and exactly suited to our needs (one king in the MBR, two queens for our two daughters and their two friends in the second BR). The unit was clean and neat and had everything we needed. The three minute walk to the private beach was not a problem (except for the last day-see below), and the private beach was just right, not too crowded. The only drawback in our unit was the advertised wifi, which ended up being very spotty. It showed a continuous connection but for over half of our stay had no internet access during the times we actually wanted to use it. Lastly, the owners, and all their neighbors, need to consider firing Waste Management for garbage pickup. On Monday, the day of pickup (dumpster emptying), a Waste Management garbage truck drove all through the complex, and all up and down the street in and out of every neighboring complex, dripping an absolutely vile garbage smelling liquid on the road surfaces-in significant amounts. It was incredibly offensive and there was no way the driver could have been unaware of the issue. Likewise, there was no way the management of all these units could have been unaware that they were voluntarily contracting with a company that didn't mind polluting their properties. The smell was as bad as I've encountered on mission trips to third world countries, and did not dissipate in the rest of the day we had remaining.
