John M.Wonderful home away from home!
We have stayed in this particular unit for the past 3 winters and would return in a heartbeat if it were not for unexpected health issues recently, some of which are aggravatd by stair climbing. It is our loss that we are unable to come back this year. This beautiful unit is well-maintained by the most gracious owners. They have been so delightful to know, and were most accommodating when we phoned them about a month after our arrival this past January to tell them the unit's refrigerator had "died". By the very next day, they had secured and arranged for the delivery of a new frige! The entire Seranata complex is well-maintained, with manicured landscaping, a fitness facilty, a lovely swimming pool, a beautiful pond (complete with 2 "resident turtles" who love to sun daily at the edge of the pond and intrigue us), concrete walkways that allows one to walk the interior perimeter of the whole complex, and is within a short driving distance to the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, as well as being near a Publix, a CVS pharmacy, and several eateries. Again, this unit is like "being home" - - so we are very saddened that we cannot return to it this coming "Snowbird season"!
