Gemma P.Wonderful stay in a home owned by wonderful people
We first spoke to Rich and Karen back in August 2019 when we booked Lumiere's Lodge for our October 2020 trip sadly Covid came and we were unable to travel from the UK but Rich and Karen were so kind to us and we knew that we would be booking this home again when the time finally came to make our trip. We contacted them as soon as the time came and again they were so helpful. We arrived late on October 26th but we had been given all the instructions needed to get in quickly and easily. The villa is situated perfectly, you can be immersed in the Disney bubble within a few minutes, you can take a trip to celebration on a quick whim or have pancakes at Ihop on the 192. Just a little further down the road is Universal, Seaworld and soon EPIC Universe. It was great to be able to come back to the villa to unwind during the day before returning to the parks later. The house is decorated beautifully with one of my favorite touches being the Imagineering patents and a signed photo of a real life imagineer. I cant recommend Lumiere' lodge enough and Rich and Karen are just amazing hosts thank you for a great trip

Lumiere’s Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The house is spacious and clean. It was perfect for our family of 11. The rooms are all themed, so nice for the little ones in our group. There is also a game room that was a great plus for our grandchildren. It was well utilized. The home is well stocked with towels, (more than we’ve ever had in rental properties, including beach towels), dishes, utensils, and appliances. The location is perfect with Disney only minutes away and a Walmart very close (1 mile, maybe). The private pool was a hit with our grandchildren. Security is a great plus as well. The owners were wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to all communication. They were also very welcoming and kept us informed of procedures and such before our arrival. We highly recommend Lumiere’s Lodge and hope to stay here again on future trips!!

This was me and my families first trip to Disney! We debated staying on or off property and are so glad we made the decision to stay in Windsor Hills at Lumiere's Lodge!The home was perfect for us. Ample amount of bedrooms and baths, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our family! We only went to the clubhouse pool once, as our kids preferred our own private pool and hot tub. Nothing was overlooked at this house...my kids loved the game room in the garage. What we loved was that the pool got sun for the majority of the day, but the seating area was out of the direct sun so we could play card games and eat out at the table without getting sun burnt.The owners were lovely. They were always available for any questions we had prior to our trip. Everything went smoothly during our stay and we didn't even need to bother them with anything! We did 5 Disney Park days, and we would drive back for the afternoon quite quickly (10-15mins) and have lunch and a swim before heading back. So conveniently located to leave when the afternoon heat becomes unbearable for a few hours. Walmart was right down the street too!We were very happy to find Karen and Rich and their rental home. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. House exactly as listed. Clean, well stocked with all the things you need. We did not have any young children with us but impressed with all the strollers, high chair, and play pen that would make traveling with young children so easy as you would not have to bring your own. We really liked the location of the home as well as the amenities. Great host. Highly recommend and would stay again if returning to same area.

Booking to final check out, communication was superb. The house was excellent for our family with a two year old. The Mickey room was upstairs which the two year old wanted badly. Out came a very secure toddler gate and peace of mind. Strollers, pack N plays, pool toys. Wow!Close proximity to Disney. A mixed blessing. Traffic over spring break was extreme. Not sure there’s anything you can do about that.Note to future guests. Arrive early day one before check in and use the community amenities. They are extensive and will help with a long day of travel.We’ll be back.

Lumiere's Lodge was an excellent choice for my family and friends to stay. It was the perfect safe and gated community that was close to the Disney Parks too. The amenities that it offered was perfect for our vacation. The pool, hot tub and the game room was a hit for my kiddos. The owners were extremely accommodating too. We will be sharing this place with family and friends and will be visiting again soon!

This location was perfect for our family while staying close to the Disney Park. It had all the amenities for two families plus more. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful addition. The game room was a great way for the kids to relax and enjoy their time. The gated community felt very safe and secure. The homeowners were very accommodating and communicated with us before and after our stay. This place will be on our list for another visit soon.

I cannot say enough about Lumiere Lodge. The house is awesome, location is convenient, neighborhood is perfect. Owners are the best and we had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything you could hope for. I rent every year and always don’t have enough pots or storage containers that was not the case here. Everyone had a bed to sleep in. The stroller was great for my 2 year old granddaughter in the parks, she napped daily and was very comfy. I could go on and on.I took my grandchildren to Universal and Disney. Days were super busy, returning in the evenings with the heated pool and spa was great for relaxing. The screened in patio was great for watching the children in the evenings or watching the sun rise in the morning during my quiet prayer time.We were concerned about having a pool with a very active 2 year old but this was not a problem with the gate and alarm on doors we had no need to worry.We plan to return to visit and will definitely look to staying here again.Thank you Lumiere Lodge

We were a group of teacher coworkers who came to Orlando for a conference and we stayed at Lumiere’s Lodge rather than a hotel. We wanted to be able to be together in a house so we could work at night together instead of be apart in different hotel rooms trying to find a spot to work in a lobby. The house worked perfectly! We were able to eat dinner together on the lanai, relax in the hot tub, brainstorm on ideas we learned during the day while in the living room, and retire at night to our bedrooms. It was so relaxing to have our own place to call home for the week! The community was nice and quiet and we enjoyed it so much. It was definitely a great idea to stay at Lumiere’s Lodge! Would recommend to anyone!

Lumieres Lodge is very family friendly. The Disney themed rooms are inviting and so tastefully decorated. Our grandchildren kept the game room busy along with the amazing pool on our off days from the park. The pool is a great place to gather and keep cool. Lots of seating and room for all! Comfy beds and plenty of towels to go around! Lumieres has everything you need in the kitchen for littles and bigs. It is in a great location, close to Disney attractions and many restaurants. We had a fantastic stay and will recommend to our friends and other family. Rich and Karen were great hosts!!

We have just returned from a 2 weeks stay at Lumieres Lodge and from booking to staying, our experience has been amazing. We originally booked for 2020 but the pandemic made sure that didn't happen. Rich and Karen were absolutely brilliant with us. We were offered a refund or a change of dates, which was in itself brilliant as I had read so many bad experiences of people who could not get their money back. We were very fortunate to have picked such amazing and understanding hosts that gave us options to choose from. We chose the rebooking option as we knew we wanted to get here eventually. Rich and Karen worked with us and were very accomodating on rebooking. Which ended up with us cancelling and rebooking a few times, due to the duration of the travel restrictions.When we finally arrived at the villa we were not disappointed. It is spacious, spotlessly clean and nicely finished. Everything we needed was provided. Fresh bed linen, towels, hairdryers in each bathroom. It literally is a home from home. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Including a kettle. Being from the UK a cup of tea in the mornings is a must, so i was very happy to find that. My children had a ball. The Disney themed rooms were very cute. And there are little Disney touches around to remind you, you really are in a happy place. The pool area was great. Was lovely sitting out there in the mornings before we started our day. After only 2 days Rich informed us that there was a problem with the air conditioning upstairs. We hadn't even realised but he had been checking at his end, to make sure the temperatures inside were OK for us and noticed there was an issue. That in itself was so thoughtful. Ensuring our comfort at all times even whilst not being there. Was a very nice touch. The air conditioning was sorted and we were not inconvenienced by it at all. They were on the ball straight away to get the problem fixed. I really can't recommend Lumieres Lodge enough. My children didn't want to come home. And Windsor Hills is a lovely resort. We didn't use the onsite amenities as we had very busy days and were glad to get back and chill at the villa. The jacuzzi was god send to come back to after long tiring days at the park.I will definitely look at rebooking our future trips at Lumieres Lodge. Thank you Ruch and Karen for such a fantastic stay. You guys are the best
