Home has been completely renovated with new appliances, doors, furniture, doors, wood trim etc...The home is located just 1.5 miles from downtown Naples' 5th Ave. and the beaches. The home was built in 1960 and has been in the family since. Entire home has been renovated to include wide open spaces, modern open kitchen, large bedrooms and plenty of closet space. The lanai is very large and open overlooking the canal in back. Home renovation was just finished in January of 2024. Pics included show the home at about 90% completion. There are several improvements and or final touches added since pics included were taken. For example, additional lanai furniture is on the way. The Den can also serve as the 3rd bedroom and a private, secluded, TV room. Some additional carpets and artwork have been added since, as well.
Area Information
Brookside is a transitional neighborhood. originally developed in the 60's. It is very quiet and quaint and tucked away from any traffic noise and or commercial buildings. The "transition" referenced is the fact that original homes are being knocked down to make way for newer, significantly bigger and more modern homes. Currently, there are no homes under construction very nearby the subject. This transition is happening as the neighborhood is very desirable, close to town and many homes are on a canal with eventual access to the Gulf of Mexico. There is a section, just in front of the home, a park of sorts, to take peaceful walks. Being only 1.5 miles from the 5th Ave shopping area and beaches, it is centrally located to all that Naples has to offer. A bike ride to downtown only takes about 15 minutes.

Inside Scoop
hit the restaurants during the week and book them early otherwise, typically going to have to wait in line. The Baker Park is the Southern End of a greenway/nature trail that goes all the way up to Goodlette Rd. There is access from Goodlette Rd too, and then you can head south, all the way to Baker Park. About a 2-3 mile walk. Freedom park is also a good nature walk, smaller, take about 30 minutes to walk it continuously. Via kayak or canoe, can take in many restaurants and shopping areas close to the home. About a 30 minute paddle to Tin City.

About the host: Myself and my brothers and sisters were all born and raised in Naples, FL and while living in the subject home. My parents are immigrants from Colombia, S.A., they moved to Naples in 1958. We all still live here locally so if you need any information at all about Naples, we are typically a very good source to get your answers. House is very cozy, you will be very comfortable there. It is a very safe and secure neighborhood. In 60 years of living there, we have never had an incident (of theft or similar) of any kind.
Why this property? This property is listed at well below the market price due to the fact that it is our first time listing the property for rent. We have many more improvements yet to make so we feel it is not quite up to "par" just yet. It is of course very comfortable and cozy and extremely livable now. We just know we are late bringing it to market and for whomever chooses to stay, they are getting a great deal.....plain and simple.
