About the host: We are a married couple close to retirement. We have 3 children all living in the Northeast. We were looking to have a place in the southwestern part of Florida when we bought this condominium 3 years ago. Life gets in the way of plans though. We find with our work, family, and schedules, we are unable to spend enough time at our beautiful unit.

Why this property? Our oldest daughter and husband have made us grandparents, upending our plan to spend more time in Southwest Florida. We have come to the realization we will not be able to spend the time we expected to spend here when we purchased the unit almost 3.5 years ago.
