Indian rocks beach is amazing!! It’s so close and tons of eateries/shops within walking. So grateful for the beach umbrella, chairs and towels! So easy to enjoy the local beaches. Great shower. Clean cozy apartment. We got eye masks to block out the evening lights and morning sun.

Great place to stay in IRB. Walkable to beach, restaurants, stores. Matthew was a great host, very responsive. The space was incredibly clean and cozy. Kitchen well stocked with essentials and big bags of coffee! Bathroom also stocked with body-wash, shampoo/conditioner. Beach chairs and towels also provided. I would say works best for two or three people. Enjoyed everything and would go back!

Our stay at Matthew’s place was good. Had everything we needed. Matthew was a great host and communicated with us as soon as we checked in. Loved the deck with the lights. Very comfortable place. Close to the gulf and had a lot of good restaurants close by. The only downside was the step’s going into the place. They were a little steep. Overall we would stay there again.

Rock Island Beach is a quiet sugar white sand beach town in Florida’s gulf coast. Matthew’s place was very comfortable, extremely clean, and an easy walk to the beach. The balcony area was equipped with comfortable furniture and a pleasant spot grab sun while reading or enjoying morning coffee! I had a super relaxing visit.

A great little quiet place and a friendly and responsive host. Our first time in Indian Rocks Beach and we found it peaceful and nice, less frantic than some of the other beach places we have stayed. Matthew’s place was very nice and we spent several afternoons sitting on the back deck. We had an issue with flickering lights in our place, but Matthew resolved it ASAP. Great place and great trip.

Updated and very clean! Lots of extra amenities that were a nice surprise! Beautiful area of nice homes and a short car ride to the public beach. Matthew was very attentive and available. The only downside was a very steep stairway to get to this second floor apartment and no elevator. I had a huge suitcase that was a bear to get to the top! Other than that it was perfect for one or two healthy adults!

We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Sand Bungalows and will definitely plan to stay again when we plan another trip to Indian Rocks beach. The property is immaculately clean, and absolutely everything we needed was supplied for us by our host Matthew including ample beach towels, bedding, beach chairs and much more. The king-sized bed is so comfortable, we slept great! We were only there for three nights but really wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend staying at Sugar Sand Bungalows!

We had a wonderful and relaxing 9 day stay at Matthew’s place. Perfectly quiet location, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The king bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and made for a perfect night sleep. Communication with Matthew was very easy and he made sure we were comfortable during our entire stay. It was truly a super relaxing vacation and his kindness made it even more special for us. We can’t wait to return !

Matthew was a great host! Very responsive and any issues were instantly solved. The place was cozy, had everything we needed, and was down the street from the beach. Just a heads up for those planning on staying here with other people, the bedroom does not have a door so it’s more a studio, open format layout. Perfect for couples or small families.
