Why Kids Love It

Kids love the pool and walking to the pier to look for dolphins, manta rays, fish, birds, and other animals. Right outside the property there is a park with soccer fields where kids can play. The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature Is an 8 minute drive and kids will love looking at manatees, visiting the planetarium, and exploring the museum.

Area Information

The Terra Ceia Bay Gated community is conveniently situated in Palmetto, Florida and it is only 3.9 miles away from Bradenton (about a 6-8 minute drive). Nearby shops in Palmetto include Publix, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, Dollar Store, and Ace Hardware, among others. There are several dining options that vary in price, including Hungry Howie's (all you can eat), a Vietnamese Restaurant (The Noodle House), a Mexican Restaurant, Checkers, and an Italian Restaurant, among others. Eight minutes away is Downtown Bradenton, where there are many restaurants, bars, banks, and businesses. Kids (and adults alike) will love visiting The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, which includes The Planetarium and the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat.
In Bradenton you will find a Walmart, Target, Costco, and other major stores. The Ellenton Premium Outlet mall is 15 minutes away and includes major brand stores.
Anna Maria Island beaches are about a 25 minute drive from the property. There are Sarasota Bay boat tours departing from the area that are a great activity for the entire family.
St. Petersburg is also another 25 minute drive away, where you will find the Dali Museum, which has the world's largest collections of Dalí's works. Downtown St. Pete has many dining options and a beautiful marina.
