The tankless gas water heater accommodates your large or small group. IMAGINE hearing and viewing the gulf from the large wrap around decks. Perfect for entertaining and viewing the Destin fireworks on occasion. This home is across the street from the beach, on a quiet road with dedicated beach access, IMAGINE a lot, large enough, to play on your very own Full Court Basketball GAME AND/OR PRIVATE PICKLEBALL Tournament!!!. (A UNIQUE AMENITY THAT SEPERATES THIS PROPERTY FROM all others) and parking for 5 vehicles. About the host: My bride Kristalynn and I live in Texas and have six children and 2 grandchildren. Our children range in ages 9yrs to 38yrs. We each grew up close to the ocean, I am from Boston and my bride lived in Hawaii. We love beautiful beaches and can not be away from them for long periods of time. I bought our 1st beach house (71701) for my bride's birthday. We gutted the house down to the studs and completely remodeled it. I decided to start renting the house to make up for some of the monthly expenses and it turned into a great small business. We named our home Summerwind (after the Frank Sinantra song that played at our wedding). We decided to expand in 2005 and bought another house in Panama City Beach (67499) and renovated that as well. Both houses have been a wonderful blessing for us. The families we meet and the memories they make at our homes are a precious gift. Guests have told me stories of their children asking them, 'when are we going back to our beach house'. That is so satisfying to us. Summerwind is truly your 'home away from home'.We have been looking at buying another house in 2012 and now that goal has been realized. WE DID IT!!! This is the newest addition to our collection of beach homes in the Destin-Panama City Beach area. We are so excited to get started with the new décor. We bought our 4th and fifth homes in 2015 (sold this one "cha-ching") and 2016 #767599. We are blessed again-Jesus Loves US this I know.
Why this property? The house is located right across the street from the gulf. The lot was big enough to have a pool and a full court basketball. This place is in a perfect location. Close to everything you need while on vacation.

It’s a football field away. No streets to cross. Private beach.
Is the grocery store close by?
Yes- Winn Dixie is about a half mile away.
Is there shopping near by?
Yes. The largest outlet mall in the country and it’s at the top of the street.
Are there restaurants close by?
Yes- Bistrology is a new cool place less than half a mile. 5 Guys-Whataburger- and Chick Fila. Plus lost Pizza and several others including the Surf Hut.
Can I rent chairs at the beach.
Yes the vendor will be on the beach and there are always chairs available.
Can I bring my own chairs and set up a tent?

We had 18 in our group, all 17 years of age or Above and this house was great. Has private pool and basketball court. Short walk to the beach. Only drawback is beach area when using the beach access is private so you have to rent an umbrella/chairs or walk a piece down to the public beach. This was our second time staying here and will be back! The owner, Jay, is so easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Our family of 12 just stayed here and it was wonderful! Very clean. The kitchen had everything you will need. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there. And Jay contacted us personally to make sure everything was in order when we arrived. There were absolutely no negatives. If you choose this for your vacation you will be very pleased. Five stars for sure.
