: Hello. My name is Chris. I was born and raised in Colorado and have lived there most of my life until I joined the military; which is where I first became familiar with the Emerald coast after being stationed in Pensacola, Florida. I fell in love with the sugar white sandy beaches which overlooked the amazing clear emerald water and swore that someday, I would own a home in the area. After my military service, I enjoyed a civilian career in Cyber Security with fortune 100 companies like Lockheed Martin, Leidos and Capgemini which lead to eventually opening my own Security Company. We have 5 children and 3 grandchildren, all of whom we've taken and spent many vacations in Emerald Coast over the years. In the beginning of 2022, we decided to take the plunge and move from Colorado to Destin, FL, where we've been living the past three years. While we loved our time in Colorado and the stunning Rocky Mountains, every visit to Florida made us realize that our hearts belonged to the South. The warm hospitality, amazing climate, and beautiful white sugar sand beaches drew us in, and we knew this was where we wanted to call home.

Why this property?

We purchased this amazing cottage in 2015 and chose it for it's views and closeness to everything such as the beach which is right across the street! It is also less than a block from Pier Park which is known for it's dining, shopping and amusement rides like the famous Ferris wheel.

We originally bought this home as a place to enjoy the beach with our family, and now we’re so happy to share it with you. It’s filled with love and wonderful memories, and we hope you create many of your own during your stay!
