Quiet, private and pet friendly 2 bedroom, 2 bath, swimming pool home in Gulf Gate just 5 minutes to Siesta Key and her Beaches! Your Rental Fee includes the following (Rent, Cleaning Fee, Florida 12% taxes, Cable, Water & Utilities).
Pet Fee additional to rental fee. NO Owners or Service Fees, ever.
Be Our Guest...very quiet, clean and comfortable NON-SMOKING HOME with private pool and lanai at the corner end of a very quiet street.
The House and Community were built in 1969 and has that "older Florida charm and feel". Please view all photos to ensure the house is suitable for your needs. The bathrooms are "quite unique" to the 60's era and we want to make sure you see the design.
Tropical décor for that "at home" but on vacation feel. Wood laminate flooring and tile are mostly throughout the home. Master BR has a Queen bed with a private bath and separate office. Guest bedroom offers a Queen bed and private bath. The living room, kitchen, office and both bedrooms have large ceiling fans. The living room, kitchen and master bedroom have sliding doors to the lanai. In the Winter, Spring and Fall months you can open the house and enjoy the cross-breeze from the Gulf of Mexico!
The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house which provides more privacy. Patio/Table and swing are under cover. Home offers linens, bath towels, pool towels, Cable TV, Wireless High Speed Internet, Unlimited telephone calling to anywhere in the USA. Fully equipped kitchen ( Keurig Coffee Machine, Standard MR Coffee, Hot griddle, Mixer/Blender ) washer and dryer. Lots of additional amenities not listed.
Private lanai enclosed pool with outdoor shower and weekly pool service. 2 car garage and circular driveway. Weekly lawn / landscaping service. Professional Cleaning Team.
The house is located in the Gulf Gate Community off Gulf Gate Drive and RT 41 (at the south entrance onto Siesta Key). Great sidewalks for bike riding or dog walking. Walk to Gulf Gate Golf Couse or brand new 27,000 square foot Gulf Gate Library. The Sarasota Mall with Movies, Legacy Bike Trail and Sarasota Y.M.C.A. with indoor basketball court, racquetball courts, indoor running track and outside waterpark (in the warmer months) are about a mile.
ADULTS ONLY (Age 25+) Occupancy and "quoted pricing" is for (2-4) Adults only, the house sleeps 4 comfortably.
Our rental property is not suitable for children., including visitors.
We're sorry, NO Parties, Events or Holiday gatherings due to Sarasota Co. Ordnance Guidelines as this home is located within the "County".
DOG okay with approval in advance and paid pet fee.
NO CATS, Owner allergic.

Our professional cleaning team uses enhanced cleaning standards throughout the whole property; higher grade cleaning products that adhere to CDC guidelines.

House exterior and yard are treated professionally every 120 days.
SECURITY:
We’re committed to protecting the privacy and security of our Guests. To that end, we’ve created a policy that strikes a balance by allowing reasonable monitoring of the outside of the property while still protecting privacy inside the home. Property uses (exterior only) surveillance via The Ring System to identify suspicious activity such as break-in’s, theft prevention, weather damage, power outages, aggressive Soliciting and any wrongful deliveries. Reference: 2020 Florida Statutes 810.145

Walk to the brand new 27,000 square foot Gulf Gate Library. Home is close to the Legacy Bike Trail as well. In the summer months the YMCA also has an outdoor water park!

A Security Deposit is held to secure your Reservation and used to pay for any damages or additional cleaning (if needed) to the rental property after your departure. Your deposit is returned back to you within 14-30 days.
We appreciate our Guests leaving the house in the same manner as when you checked in. There will be a fee of $50 per hour deducted from your Security Deposit for the extra time and staff it takes to clean up any of the following (but not limited to) dirty dishes, extra trash / boxes, dog hair, dog refuge in the yard, beach sand, dirty or stinky refrigerator/freezer, excessive laundry or carpet shampooing.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
CANCELLATIONS: A written ninety (90) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than (90) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty and refunded within 30 days. All other Cancellations will forfeit the full deposit or paid rent UNLESS the property can be re-rented at the same rental fee. An early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. There will be no refunds for inclement weather unless there is a MANDATORY (Government issued) evacuation. In these instances, you would be issued a refund for the day(s) you are required to evacuate. If desired, the Lessee can purchase TRAVEL INSURANCE separately to cover their vacation investment.

About the host: To all of you who LOVE Florida ...... SO DO WE !! We're a small family who wanted to enjoy Sarasota when we could so we decided this was the best way . So we began this adventure with a really cute home right near restaurants and shopping and close to Siesta Key ! I first saw Siesta when I was 9 yrs old and loved it . No beach compares to me. So we hope everyone enjoys the home as much as we do and find it just as relaxing !
Why this property? Gulf Gate is a tranquil little community near the Beach ! It has everything you need. So this home has 2 bedrooms , 2 baths , a private pool and almost no traffic ! It's very quiet and comfortable. So it was perfect with multiple restaurants , grocery store , and shopping center , all at the edge of the neighborhood !!

Karyn and Steve were beyond attentive and available throughout the trip. The house was clean upon arrival and close to everything. Excellent location and very short drive to the beach. The neighbors were even extremely friendly. Very quiet neighborhood and easy to walk the dogs around. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We loved the location. It was only 3 miles from Siesta Key. We found the home to be very comfortable. The house is close to stores, restaurants and shopping. Great neighborhood to walk in, and we loved sitting out on the Lanai and swimming in the pool. Karyn and Steve were very friendly and easy to reach when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again.

Leigh S.Peaceful Retreat
We enjoyed our 2 week peaceful retreat at this Gulf Gate home. Cute with some interesting architectural details. We talked to some folks, it’s believed this house was a model home when it was built in the 1960’s. The owners have updated the things that count the most … AC, appliances, flooring, lighting and ceiling fans. Plus probably things we didn’t see. The master bathroom is so unique. You’ll really enjoy this place. It’s so quiet in the neighborhood, we walked the whole area and it’s such a sweet place. The back yard and pool area is a tropical oasis. The owners have thought of everything you’d need to make your stay very enjoyable. We loved that our miniature poodle was able to stay with us too. My husband and I will definitely be returning next year and are planning to stay 3-4 weeks if it’s available. I almost forgot… you are close to everything within a few minutes. Unfortunately Red Tide was present during our stay on Siesta Key and Venice beach. But the silver lining was that we visited beaches up and down the coast we’d never been to before. Coquina Beach at the end of Longboat Key is a gem. Beautiful white sand, not as fine as Siesta’s but cool to walk on. We splurged and rented lounge chairs and an umbrella ($24) when we went (owners have them in the garage, which we never count on and always bring our own). That was a treat to have someone cone around every once in a while and if we’d like our umbrella position changed. I picked up food from Starfish Company on Cortez for a yummy beach picnic. There’s a great little cafe/grill run by the county and lifeguards as well. Caspersan Beach at the end of Venice Island was a favorite to shell hunt and find Shark’s teeth. We also tried out Englewood Beach, nice facilities and picnic area but you have to pay to park and the sand is very very hot to walk on. So if Red Tide should happen to be present during your stay don’t fret there’s plenty of other beaches and things to do and see.

Wonderful home in Gulf Gate section of Sarasota, close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Home is very well maintained and extremely clean and very comfortable. Screened in pool and lanai are very private with comfortable furniture. Equipped with all the amenities you would ever need. The neighborhood is very nice and great for walking fido. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Owners Karyn and Steve are easy to reach and are eager to help in anyway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a tropical getaway.

This house is so amazing! It's spacious and light. The kitchen is so great. It opens up to the pool. You can see the pool from just about everywhere in the house. I can't say enough good things about this house and the owners . It's beautiful on the outside and the inside. It's so close to the beach and everything else . Siesta Key village, restaurants, it has it's own little world also. It is truly something to behold.

This home situated in the well established Gulf Gate community was ideal! The home is warm, cozy and has all the amenities you would need. It has the feel of a well loved home with coastal decor and not "the early motel" feel. it is well cared for indeed. One of the selling features for us is that it is dog friendly, always a bonus for those of us who travel with pets. Also the owners provide detailed instructions to dog parks, vets and other things you may want to do if you after a first timer to the Sarasota area. Another selling feature for us is that the home is located in a community with lovely quiet streets, neighbours that say hello and is not just a rental community. The owners Steve and Karyn are easy to communicate with, friendly and accommodating. Their house manager Barbara is close by if you have any concerns and is also lovely to speak with if we had any concerns. Bike trails are an easy 3.5 kms. ride away where you can cycle to Venice and back. Shopping re grocery stores are within a few kms. or miles (Costco, Trader Joe's, Publix,Deweilers (best kept secret)) Also the Gulf Gate community is home to the Sarasota Brewing company and other small family owned businesses. You are able to cycle on a path right to these local establishments.. Siesta key is a 10 minute drive with lots of beach and adventure. Gulf Gate library is a 4 minus walk from the house. While the pool was not heated it was a welcome addition to challenge the spirit! Just sitting in the pool area on the comfy furniture relaxing was indeed lovely. We hope to return! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Eautiful well maintained home. Eberything you could possibly need or want is avaliable. Besutiful tropical setting, circle drive usable large 2 car garage, 2 bikes for your use, perfect conditionlots of beach furniture. Even cooler packs in freezer to use. Well kept great lani furnature. Even a mat for your puppy bowls. Ps extremely comfortable beds just an all round great rental house.
