The owner was determined to preserve the “beach home” feel, ensuring that the original woodwork and warm, welcoming atmosphere remained intact. The bottom floor of Bare Feet Retreat features a drive-in carport, perfect for keeping at least one car out of the elements. This area also provides great space for storing floats, coolers, and additional beach equipment.

The main level of the home is an open concept, with a large great room, dining area, and kitchen. This spacious area allows families to gather, cook, dine, and relax. The living room offers ample seating with three large sofas (one of which is a queen-size sleeper sofa) and a large flat-screen TV.

The fully equipped kitchen provides plenty of space, with a bar area that seats four and a farmhouse table with seating for eight.
The large porch is a guest favorite! It’s a cozy spot to relax out of the sun while still enjoying views of the surf. The porch features a comfortable hanging swing and a dining area, perfect for watching dolphins. On both sides of the porch, you’ll find open deck areas ideal for sun lovers.

Also on the main level is a large master suite, complete with a flat-screen TV and a sliding glass door leading to the deck. This sun-filled room offers sweeping waterfront views of the sand and surf. The spacious layout includes a king bed and a full bed, making it convenient for families with small children to sleep together. The adjoining master bathroom includes a large vanity, a soaker tub, and a separate shower.

On the opposite side of the home, you’ll find two more bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom is directly gulf-front with a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and a large sliding glass door to the sun deck. The second bedroom sleeps four, with a queen bed and a daybed with a trundle. This room also includes a flat-screen TV.

The third level of the home features a bonus room with a second master bedroom and a renovated full bath. This bedroom includes a king bed, full bathroom, mini kitchenette, and an incredible gulf-front deck. While the rest of the house offers beautiful gulf views, this room provides the most stunning, unobstructed views of the Gulf of America.
