This uncrowded, eclectic, private, tropically-inspired, relaxing, sun-kissed getaway to paradise will have you tapping your feet and wanting more. You'll be swept away as all the common areas bask in the view of the lush pool/patio/waterfall, providing fun and tranquility. This 3/2 home sleeps eight, has been fully updated with porcelain tile, articistic details, themed rooms, galley kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, all done in natural motifs. It's generous-size barbecue grill is situated with ample patio furniture perfect for sharing pina coladas, fresh caught mahi, and s'mores. A bicycle-built for two plus two single bikes, the fenced, landscaped side yard for kids, dogs (upon approval), and even adults, yard games, pool floats, outdoor shower, bikes, an oversized pool with its own waterfall, large screened TVs with movie channels, WiFi, and so much more. When you leave for home and share the great time you had, your friends will be jealous. It's become a favorite destination for folks to enjoy what life was meant to be.
Unique Benefits
After searching for a (rental) home to share, this one just spoke to me. I thought "If I could love it this much, so could others." At first my thought was to have it be an annual rental home. However, it's close proximity to the beach and amazing views of the over-sized pool/patio/waterfall seemed to beckon a greater out-reach. Now folks from all over the world come to enjoy the special features, including a gourmet galley kitchen, multiple conversation pits, and much more. It's been such fun fixing it up and meeting the most interesting, friendly people. It's an adventure for me as well when new guests arrive.
Why Kids Love It
The sparkling private, semi-secluded pool with floats and toys, private beach just two and one half houses from the ocean access, yard toys, community sports centers, nature centers i.e., The Environmental Learning Center and McKee Botanical Gardens, surfing/sorkeling/kayaking/paddleboarding/fishing, art museums, parks, yummy places to eat, bicycles, and so much more. Kids, tell your parents you're ready. . . now! . . pleeeease.
Area Information
This serene tropical paradise is still fresh and idyllic without crowds. It's beautiful, situated in a community where it's forefathers had vision and restricted zoning heights, thereby preserving the quaint village feeling. It is home to the nation's first wildlife preserve at Pelican Island, shopping, antiquing, fabulous restaurants, world class theater to name a few.
Vero Beach has one of the best beaches in Florida and has been distinguished as the 15th best place to retire in the U.S.
Attractions Within Walking Distance
The privately deeded beach is wonderfully pristine. You won't be inundated with crowds, yet you'll see some other folks basking in the sun or frolicking in the surf, so you won't feel it's desolate. The waves are rough enough to be fun, but not so strong or big as to be frightening. Body surfing the waves can be a lot of fun. Early and late in the day you can bring your pooch on the beach, provided you take care of their business - if you know what I mean. The beach sits in front of a protected turtle preserve.

Wonderful Beach Home
This house was wonderful! My family of 5 including my 3 older kids rented the Beachin’ Island Escape during the Independence Day week. The location is great with only about a block to the beautiful private beach! It was almost empty most days…exactly how we liked it! The Master bed was very comfortable as were the other two bedroom beds, but the pull out was not comfortable at all! Of course, being a pull out we weren’t expecting much, but definitely bring a mattress topper if you’re planning on using it. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed our time in it and hanging out around it! The no-see-ums and mosquitoes are NO JOKE! Bring some Skin So Soft to deter their evil bites! A couple of suggestions I have to make the space even better: an electrical outlet out by the pool, smart TV’s in all bedrooms and living room, a TV and/or speakers by the pool, kitchen chairs wet swimsuits can sit on, a way to turn the waterfall on later in the night for us night owls, more measuring cups and measuring spoons, a separate drink fridge by the pool, trash can by the pool, written instructions on the workings of the house (lights, AC, where stuff is etc) and a binder with local things to do-restaurants-coupons etc. My family and I throughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful home and Colleen was an absolute pleasure to work with always responding to questions quickly and making fun suggestions to make our trip even better! She takes a lot of pride in helping her guests have a great time! Thank you for sharing your awesome home and we look forward to returning someday!

Thanks for your compliments and insight. I consider suggestions for improvement, within reason. You're right that I take personal pride in the comfort of my guests. I'll address some of your critiques: This was the first time anyone complained about the sleeper sofa. I investigated and found a solution. I will have smart TVs soon, instead of satellite & movie channels. No-see-ums & mosquitos occasionally come out in Florida. SkinSoSoft is a good idea. Speakers aren't allowed outside.
Family Loved
Neat, clean and convient to Beach, Biking and other activities. Loved the kitchen with plenty of room to cook. Liked being in a residental area where it was so quiet and yet not isolated. The pool was wonderful, especially with the weather being so hot.

It was such a compliment to me that your milestone birthday was celebrated at the beach house with your adoring family, from all points in the United States. Just so you know, when folks have a great time and love the place, it tickles me to no end. My intention is to make it all the things you mentioned with a fanciful, tropical twist so my guests can get the true vibe of the area. Know that you are welcome whenever you and your family decide the spirit moves you. Hope to see you next time!
Pure Heaven!
From the minute we arrived, we felt our cares slip away! Colleen has clearly put her heart and soul into this lovely home. The pool, private beach, bikes and well-equipped kitchen combined to make our stay truly enjoyable. Located in a beautiful neighborhood, handy to shops and restaurants and yet very private. We are already planning our next trip to this lovely home.

Awh! It's hosting and meeting folks like you that make this all worthwhile. It's like my late husband used to say: "The people who come are so nice, if they all lived here, we'd want them all to be our friends!" I'm so glad you liked it and would love to see you all again too! It's not what I expected, just so much more. I get a kick out of helping folks make their dreams come true. . . in paradise!
Beautiful Location
This home is ideally located very close to the beach. It is situated in a neighborhood which offers private beach access and walks through lush and gorgeously landscaped yards. East of A1A, there is no busy road to cross to get to the beach or enjoy your walks. Everything is quiet and residential, even the road that parallels the ocean. If you like an active beach, this isn’t for you; the beach is mostly quiet, beautiful and restful. Dog friendly for certain hours in the morning and evening. This home has a fenced side yard for dogs (note it does not have direct access from the home). Be aware that small dogs can slip through the slats. The fence is a very nice wrought iron, standard for the neighborhood. Just be sure not to leave small, slim dogs unattended. The Vero area has a multitude of restaurants to try; downtown Vero or Oceanside. We also loved going south to the Fort Pierce Jetty and Marina area. The home itself is as shown in photos. The pool area is a great place to gather and enjoy (the property does back up to the A1A, so you can hear traffic while around the pool, but the waterfall feature helps to mask it and traffic isn’t overly loud or distracting). The house is a rambler with a split floor plan; guest rooms on the opposite side of the home from the master. Lots of closet space. The kitchen is well appointed for any cooking need. Huge laundry/mud room. Note that the two TVs offer Direct TV only. Bring your Roku or HDMI cable if you want to stream anything. We appreciated the beach wagon, chairs, towels and toys for guest use. We also took advantage of the two comfortable bikes offered. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing time away, Vero is a perfect spot.

It's such a pleasure having wonderful guests as you. I am thankful for your comments, as I (along with my first-rate team) jump in with all fours to make our guests' experience as memorable and comfortable as possible. Your feedback will be considered in furnishing details. The MB window opens to the fenced yard. Perhaps I forgot to mention it on my personal house tour. We currently have movie channels & a new hi-end coffeemaker. After consideration, I will be adding a Kurig & ROKU. TY
Best Beachside Rental Home Option: IMO
Planned a family vacation that would include (3) generations of family Great Grandma, Grandma & Grandpa, Son, Daughter-In-law, and Grand-Daughter. And the dogs. What a great selection I made with this choice. The home was just right for our family traveling from both Minnesota and Ohio. The home had all the amenities of our home in Ohio including the inground pool, Direct TV, a pen location for the pup dogs etc. The kitchen was well stocked with a lot of condiments, spices, etc. and the best appliances any kitchen could ever want. The gifted bottled of wine was much appreciated after a long day of travel by everyone. The pool area was perfect for our daily pool time and the pool toy's, float's, etc. also are nice for our use. The garage had bikes, boogie boards etc. that also could have been used but we never used them. We could tell that Colleen takes great pride in the home's decorations, and style. The Vero Beach area is very nice and a laid-back area perfect for a relaxing vacation. I'm sure we will be back in the future. Thank you, Colleen, for allowing us to stay in your rental home as it is a beautiful place. Dave & Robin Grawe & Family. Especially the pup dogs :)

Awh, thanks so much for your kind words. Though there were a lot of moving parts, I'm glad you were able to make it all come together. I'm a believer that families are the fruit in the bowl. It tickles me to know that my bowl provided what you all needed for fun and relaxation, sprinkled with just the right amount of spice. Just know you all were a delight and I so hope we get to meet again. By any chance did you dropped breadcrumbs so you can follow your sandy feet back again soon?
Perfection!
This rental house in Vero Beach was a perfect place for us to stay when we visited for our anniversary in Oct. The house itself was beautiful and meticulously kept (inside and out!). We could choose between walking minutes to a private beach or lounging and swimming at our own private pool. The icing on the cake for us was that this rental is pet-friendly! Our hostess, Colleen, put her heart and soul into furnishing and decorating this house-such a fun, beachy vibe. Everything we could possibly need (and more) was provided to us(including extras like beach towels, linens, beach chairs, pool toys, etc.) and it was truly a "cook's kitchen". Colleen always made herself available to us throughout the rental process. She was so easy to communicate with. While there is no lack of fun things to do all around Vero Beach, we loved relaxing at our beautiful Treasure Lane beach house the most. We only had one complaint and that was-we did not want to leave! We will definitely be back!

What a treat it was getting to meet you too! This "business" to provide the best tropical escape possible turned into more of an adventure . Never did I realize the excitement I'd get from doing it and meeting new friends from all around the globe. Your family was amazing to work with as well and was tickled to learn how much you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for taking great care while being a guest, relaxing and playing in paradise. I would love the opportunity to see you again!
A Treasure on Treasure Lane!
What a perfect setting for our family reunion!Located in a private community of beautiful houses and landscaped properties, the ocean awaited a block away. The sea was the main reason why we were drawn to this house. The pleasure of watching the sun come up while standing in the surf was irrestible.Everything was perfect. Set up for small and large gatherings with cozy knooks, comfortable seating, and private areas for quiet, it it beautifully designed. The owner has tastefully decorated for her guests' pleasure and comfort. The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking. The landscaped property with a private pool added to our enjoyment. It is obvious that the owner has spent much time planning for her guests' comfort and pleasure.Would we go back? In a heartbeat!

I'm not sure who gets more of a kick out of this place, you or me. My intention is for everyone to enjoy themselves in this peaceful, beautiful setting that tropically inspired. When I get feedback that you were tickled, it just makes my day! Thank you so much for choosing to stay at the beach house. Honestly, it's meeting folks like you that make it all so worthwhile. Now that you know it's here, I hope to see you again real soon. Did you remember to drop breadcrumbs on the way home?
