Gatorland

Now this place is an experience on the wild side! Gatorland offers the thrill of seeing dangerous live animals up close and personal.  They have alligators and crocodiles of all sizes, including some rare breeds. Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures (Kissimmee)

Adventure awaits at Boggy Creek with airboat tours that will take you into the Everglades to see all the cool things nature has to offer. There are so many local birds, alligators and turtles to see. They offer a variety of tours with different time durations, sunset tours and even nighttime tours for those looking for an extra thrill. Mathers Social Gathering

Mathers is more than a bar, the building it is in has a long and engaging history. The inside of this special spot is restored from its previous 1800 past. With dark wood and exposed brick, this place is sophisticated and classy with just the right amount of fun mixed in. The drinks are strong, unique and delicious — each handcrafted. Make sure to check their calendar for special events including live music, social hours and burlesque shows.

Giraffe Ranch (Dade City)

This ranch is a little further outside of Orlando (about an hour), but wow it is worth the trip! This beautiful place is also a wildlife preserve and is spread out over acres upon acres of land and wetlands. They offer 5 different kinds of safaris and each one is more special than the last. It is a great place to learn about animals in their own safe and raw environment. They offer an interactive educational experience that is fun for all! As promised in the name, feeding the gentle giant giraffes is also part of most of the tours.

Congo River Golf 

Explore the Congo in Florida! This mini golf course is fun for the whole family with waterfalls, caves and rainforests all around while you “putt” away. Beyond the golf, which is a blast, there are also 25 alligators you can safely feed, an arcade and gem mining where you can actually find hidden treasure. This place is a full day of excitement!

West Orange Trail Bikes & Blades (Winter Garden)

West Orange is a full service bike shop that offers not only rentals, but also guided tours through bike trails and historical towns. This is a great experience for a family, group, couple or even on your own. It is a great way to get some exercise in the beautiful Florida sun, while seeing cool scenic sights and learning something! Their service is top notch and the guides are informative and engaging.

USTA National Campus

If you are looking for something a little more competitive for your Florida trip, this is a good place to check out. The USTA is all over and the Orlando location offers tennis education and entertainment. You can either take a lesson, join a team or camp or get tickets to watch professional college matches. They have almost 100 courts and offer something for every level of tennis and engagement.

Gator Golf Adventure Park

Florida is known for their alligators and Gator Golf does not disappoint! They offer an 18 hole mini golf course to enjoy, all wrapped around a lagoon with tons of alligators and other local wildlife. There are also other animal exhibits throughout the course. They have live animal shows daily and various opportunities to learn about all these wild creatures.
