This amazing zoo combines conservation and recreation. They have exotic animals in a tropical setting and some favorites like lions, giraffes, monkeys, pythons, and bears. Along with just walking around they also offer many events and educational activities to learn more about these special animals and their environment.

Pro tip: You will definitely want to check out the Caribbean Gardens to see experienced staff feed alligators. The giraffes, gardens and zoo cruise are all super popular attractions. Typically guests spend a few hours at this zoo and there are food and drinks available for purchase. If you want to save time we suggest pre-booking your tickets.

Naples Botanical Garden

These beautifully curated gardens are open for wandering around or they have lots of events available like music in the gardens, dogs in the garden and much more. Everything here is unique and gorgeous. You will want to spend the day enjoying all the natural beauty this special place has to offer.

Revs Institute

This car museum is more than just cars. It also explores history and society through automobiles. There are many rare and amazing cars to see, as well as different events available to attend throughout the year.

Pro tip: You will definitely want to check out the morning guided tour before you look around on your own. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and it gives some great insight into all the history and stories that go along with these fantastic vehicles. The museum is also typically less busy in the summer, so that is a great time to visit.

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (C*mon)

This large ship shaped museum has 38,000 square feet of interactive space. The Naples Trolley is one of the main attractions. They have 12 different galleries to explore with each one being more exciting than the next!

Pro tip: They offer tours of the museum for free if you call ahead and are looking for more information on the interactive exhibits. You do have to pay for entry if you are not a member, however if you have a membership to another children’s museum you may be able to get in for free or at a reduced rate.

Birds, birds and more birds! This non-profit organization focuses on the well-being and conservation of parrots. Here you will also have the opportunity to see, learn, and interact with 100+ birds from origins around the world. The tours last about 2 hours and are great for all ages!

Pro tip: This bird garden is popular so make sure to book your tickets in advance. It is also a great idea to bring bug spray and unsalted nuts (except peanuts) to feed the birds, if you are so inclined. This museum is free to enter but donations are greatly appreciated!

Naples Lionel Train Museum

Located in the historic Naples Depot this museum has something for all ages! Trains are the theme and kids can ride them, watch them and even operate them. There is a lot of fun to be had here while learning some history.

Pro tip: We think the best way to really experience this museum is with a guided tour. Once you have been taken through by an expert the next thing on your list should be to explore the train room. And on the way out don’t forget to stop into the gift shop and grab a souvenir!

Sun-N-Fun Lagoon

There is nothing like water fun in the heat! This exciting kid centric place has water slides galore, lap pools and Sunny’s River.

Pro tip: Make sure to wear your bathing suit and bring some quarters for the lockers. Also if you go off season expect that some attractions may not be open.

Artis-Naples (The Baker Museum)

This spectacular museum has it all. It is the #1 destination for visual and performing arts in Southwest Florida. They offer educational and entertaining programs and exhibitions.
