My husband Jean (pronounced Jon) is a private pilot and flew into Punta Gorda several years ago. He said it was beautiful and we should go check it out, maybe do some Kayaking. That began our love affair with Punta Gorda. We later bought an RV and Parked it at Creekside RV Resort so we could come down on the weekends to enjoy more boating and fishing. We often dined at Fisherman's Village and enjoyed the magnificent sunsets. In 2018 my husband had a job change that allowed us to make a move, so Punta Gorda here we came. On our weekend visits we noticed a neighborhood that had began in 2006 and had essentially stopped in it's tracks. Just so happened that in 2018, Lennar bought the resort neighborhood and brought it back to life. The perfect placed to start our new life adventure! We purchased a Coach Home and then a Terrace condo as an investment. We later moved to a Single Family home and purchased a second Condo that is currently being built. That is how much faith we have in the community. The golf is the best in the area, it is very convenient for our boating adventures, the first of many pools opened in August 2020. The amenities include a resort style pool with tiki bar service, tennis, pickle ball, salon and spa, and a fitness center. Heritage Landing's secluded location in Punta Gorda makes it the perfect get away location. Punta Gorda is a hidden gem by the sea. Still less than an hour to beaches, outlet shopping and Naples or Sarasota.
